The elegant Hoya calycina ‘Stargazer’ is a stunning trailing plant known for its lush green foliage and beautifully fragrant, star-shaped blooms. Its thick, slightly textured leaves cascade gracefully, making it perfect for shelves or hanging planters. When in flower, it produces clusters of creamy, starry blossoms with a sweet scent that intensifies in the evening.
Light: Hoya calycina ‘Stargazer’ thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some gentle morning sun, but harsh direct sunlight may scorch the leaves. Bright conditions will encourage stronger growth and increase the likelihood of flowering.
Water: Allow the top few centimetres of soil to dry out between waterings. Hoyas prefer to dry slightly rather than sit in consistently wet soil. Reduce watering during cooler months, and ensure the pot has excellent drainage to prevent root rot.
