No, I am not a wedding crasher, I just happen to be married to a Rabbi. Rethink Love is for anyone who is in love, wants love, or wishes to rekindle love. Relationships can be our biggest source of joy and our biggest source of pain. Every relationship has its problems, but the ones that work are the ones we consistently work on. Difficulties are not a sign of a bad marriage or a looming breakup. Challenges are a powerful signal that your relationship needs to evolve, and you are being called to reconnect to something greater, to evolve, and love more deeply. Love is not something we need to find, accumulate, or protect. It is something that we inherently possess, and the only way to receive it fully is to give it away. We have to throw away our misconceptions of what relationships are in order to embrace what they can be. Rethink Love emphasizes taking responsibility for the quality of your relationships while offering practical pathways to immediate, long-lasting solutions for improving them. I brought this book and told them a few things covered in the book... like where the manger was. When we left, I offered to leave the book if anyone wanted to look at it... one of the girls excitedly said she was hoping I would leave it. She really wanted to read it. I couldn't have been more thrilled. I would encourage anyone interested in this book to buy it, read it, and give it to someone else who will read it too. For the money, what a great witnessing tool! It's so factual, it will speak to those who are kind of "on the fence".
