Valiant Miniature Kit# 9819 - Battle of the Bulge 1944. On December 16, 1944 the Germans launched their surprise offensive in the Ardennes and sent the weakened American units holding the area reeling back in confusion. Caught in an exposed position on the Schnee Eiffel, the untried 106th Division was quickly cut off and forced to surrender; some 14,000 American soldiers were marched off into captivity in the largest mass surrender of American troops since Bataan. By the end of December, barely two weeks later, the situation had changed. The German offensive literally ran out of gas, and the tide began to turn. American planes once more took to the skies and Patton's Third Army suddenly arrived from the south. The poorly equipped Volksgrenadier Divisions began to crumble, and it was soon the Germans who were surrendering in droves, throwing away their weapons and stumbling into the American lines with their hands held high. (THE UNUSUAL FEATURE OF THIS KIT IS THAT IT IS REVERSIBLE. IT IS REALLY TWO VIGNETTES IN ONE, IN THAT IT CAN BE ASSEMBLED TO REPRESENT EITHER THE EARLY OR THE LATE STAGES OF THE BATTLE OF THE BULGE.) Hello, it’s Skye! I’m back with another very important product update. If you are a dog who loves a challenge and loves real bacon, you need to tell your humans to get you the Benebone Ring Durable Dog Chew Toy.
Why this ring is my absolute favorite:
The Ultimate Treat Bowl: My absolute favorite part about this ring is the hollow center. My humans stuff it full of yummy treats, freeze-dried raw bites, or a little dog-safe peanut butter, and it turns into the best puzzle bowl ever! I will happily spend hours licking and working to get every single crumb out.
Tastes Like Real Bacon: Even after I clean out all the stuffed treats, the toy itself is infused with real, delicious bacon flavor. It doesn't smell like fake chemicals; it smells like the real deal, which makes my nose very happy.
Super Durable for Heavy Chewing: I have sharp puppy teeth and I love to chomp, but this durable nylon ring is tough. The curved design makes it really easy for me to flip up with my paws and hold securely while I chew away.

This chew toy is great for aggressive chewers—it’s very durable and holds up much longer than most other toys we’ve tried. The ring shape makes it easy for dogs to grip and carry, and my dog was immediately interested in it, likely because of the real bacon flavor. It’s also a nice bonus that it’s made in the USA and doesn’t have a strong smell for humans.
That said, it is very hard, so I’d recommend keeping an eye on your dog while they’re using it, especially if they’re an intense chewer. Over time, it does wear down and needs to be replaced once the edges get rough.
Overall: a long-lasting, high-quality chew that keeps dogs occupied—just be mindful of the hardness and monitor for wear.

Long lasting chew toy!

All I can say is wow! I have a Basset Hound mix who will be in the puppy stage for another year, and as we all know, that means dealing with teething issues. Seeing the photo of this product when it was new makes it obvious what he’s done to it. He’s still at it, chewing like mad. Made for medium to large dogs, he happily totes it around everywhere, and I’m always picking it up so I don’t trip over it.
The inner cup can hold peanut butter as a special treat for your pet, and I give him some when he’s feeling a bit bored. It doesn’t last long, but he’ll keep chewing on it for a while afterward. For me, the value is worth the price if it keeps his teeth off my furniture—pet owners know exactly what I mean.
