Instead, they spawn warriors from the growth vats nestled in the bowels of the Spires, which draw directly from the massive stores of biomass and mineral resources siphoned by the Spires’ root structure. Among these creations, Clones are a valuable and much favoured commodity. Unlike the unsophisticated, almost mindless Drone troops, Clone flesh is grown directly from Exile tissue. Time and effort is actually spent in the shaping of their minds, bodies and weaponry. These elite creations became the champions of the Lineages, a display of power and Biomantic competence.Almost since their arrival on Eä, the Lineages have been preparing for the Reclamation of the lost homeland. For that purpose, the Sovereign has tasked them with developing new types of troops, hosting tournaments for them to be displayed and evaluated. During these tournaments, the Lineages pit their finest troops and creations against each other in ritualized combat, more akin to sport than actual battle. As centuries passed, the strict, militarized character of the Lineages degenerated into a vicious and cruel competition for prestige and the Sovereign’s favour. Despite the petty motives, the products of the Lineages are frighteningly effective. Marksman Clones are a prime example of this.
Spliced from a number of tissues to ensure their keen eyesight and flawless hand-eye coordination, these Clones are amongst the most effective ranged troops one can encounter on the battlefield. The addition of a third arm was pioneered by the Fourth Indigo Lineage, which traded the marginal increases in accuracy that other houses blindly pursued for a significantly increased rate of fire. Despite underperforming in the sharpshooting challenges, the dominant superiority in their rate of fire brought glory to their Lineage in the melees for decades, until the other Lineages stole, bought or perfected their technique.
Unleashed on the outside world for the first time in millennia, Marksmen Clones are reaping a bloody toll on the battlefield, providing withering salvoes of accurate fire for the monstrous throng the Spires call an army.

Soft, velvety and very pretty.
Happy with this blanket. A bit thin, but I use it for layering so it is perfect for that. The color is a deep, rich purple. Which can be hard to find. Does not shed at all and feels very comfortable against the skin.

Fuzzies
I've waited to write this review to see if the fuzzies would go away. I've washed these blankets 4 times, twice when I first got them. The shedding was really bad on the first two washes, and each time I launder them, I hope they're gone, but no, I have to spend time picking them off, and I continue to do this, because the blankets came at a great price, they're a perfect weight, soft and cozy. Just beware if this would irritate you.

Another Berkshire Favorite!
So soft and silky and warm and, oh the butterscotch color is such a perfect fall color! No static either! It does come rolled and sealed with plastic in a box, which I appreciate because you know you’re not getting something someone used and returned; all the Berkshire products I’ve bought come this way and while things being squished and sealed in plastic normally irritate me I approve of it here because Amazon is notorious for sending out used dirty crap and no one wants that in a blanket. Luckily with Berkshire I feel assured I’m always getting something new. Maybe that’s because the products are so high quality no one wants to return them (I know I don’t)! Or maybe they don’t allow returns, I don’t know. Sorry random tangent! But anyway, buy this for you, your friends, your pets, a stranger on the street! I don’t know, but I’m pretty sure the soft cozy feeling of this blanket could ensure world peace if everyone has one because everyone would be cozy and comfy and happy. Well maybe not everyone there’s always someone who has to complain. But not this girl. Because I’m cozy, comfy, and happy under my awesome blanket while I write this review!
