  • Unveiled at the Fiorano Circuit on 23rd January 2026, the Scuderia Ferrari HP SF‑26 is the team’s challenger for the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. It is the 72nd Formula 1 car built in Maranello and has been conceived from the ground up to meet the sport’s completely overhauled technical and sporting regulations - its most significant transformation in more than a decade. Central to this new era are lighter, more agile cars, a fundamental shift in aerodynamic philosophy, and an all‑new generation of hybrid power units.

    A New Era

The SF-26 has been designed to meet the all-new regulations, prompting a complete rethink of the car’s architecture. The chassis abandons ground-effect aerodynamics in favour of a different approach, with cleaner lines and an overall philosophy focused on reducing weight and improving efficiency, in line with the objectives set by Formula 1 for these regulations. The power unit is also a major step forward: a new hybrid generation, eliminating the MGU-H and boosting the MGU-K to 350 kW, further increasing the contribution of the electric system. This required a completely new design approach and close integration between chassis and power unit.

    Design, Colour and Identity

Reflecting the new aerodynamic and technical direction, the SF‑26 features cleaner surfaces and more refined proportions, expressing lightness, agility, and functional clarity. From the outset, Ferrari’s designers prioritised a concept that is both robust and adaptable, ensuring strong development potential as the team gathers real-world data throughout the season.

The livery connects Ferrari’s heritage with its future, acting as a visual bridge as the team enters a new chapter. One of the most notable stylistic choices is the return to a gloss finish after seven years of matte paint. The 2026 Rosso Scuderia is brighter and more vivid, inspired by the special Monza livery of 2025 while echoing the iconic shade used around the turn of the millennium, an expression of Ferrari’s core values of passion, courage, and identity.

Complementing the red is a reinterpreted use of white, historically applied sparingly but with strong symbolic impact. Now placed around the cockpit and across the engine cover, it creates a clean, striking contrast that enhances the SF‑26’s instantly recognisable silhouette. Together, the red and white form a visual dialogue between Ferrari’s legacy and its forward‑looking ambitions, a balance between tradition and innovation as Scuderia Ferrari HP embraces the challenges of Formula 1’s new technical frontier.

A Moment of History – the 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix

This fine 1:8 scale model replicates the #44 car raced by Lewis Hamilton to a maiden victory for Ferrari in the MSC Cruises Gran Premio de Barcelona-Catalunya at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on the 14th of June 2026. Hamilton delivered a standout performance, qualifying second on the grid, just 0.064 seconds shy of polesitter George Russell and splitting the Mercedes pair of Russell and Kimi Antonelli. With track temperatures exceeding 50°C, a high-degradation race was anticipated, making tyre strategy critical. Ferrari opted for an aggressive approach, starting Hamilton on soft tyres against the Mercedes cars on mediums.

Despite a strong launch, Hamilton was unable to pass Russell in the opening laps, as the Mercedes driver built an early gap while both managed tyre wear. Ferrari made the first strategic move, pitting Hamilton early for hard tyres, prompting Mercedes to respond and retain track position. On lap 23, the race pivoted when Ferrari committed to a bold three-stop strategy, bringing Hamilton in again for medium tyres. With the advantage of fresh rubber, he delivered a blistering out lap and emerged as the net race leader. Meanwhile, Mercedes managed its drivers carefully as Antonelli ran close behind Russell without mounting a full challenge, before both drivers made their final pit stops.

With the race heading for an epic climax of Hamilton chasing down the Mercedes on fresher rubber, a golden opportunity beckoned as Fernando Alonso pulled off the track to retire, triggering a Virtual Safety Car period, allowing Ferrari to execute Hamilton’s final stop with minimal time loss. He rejoined the track in the lead, a few seconds clear of Russell. In the closing stages, Hamilton controlled the race with authority, extending his advantage while battles unfolded behind him. Antonelli briefly advanced past Russell but was forced to retire late on, removing any remaining pressure at the front. Hamilton crossed the line 19.5 seconds ahead of Russell, securing his first win for Ferrari - and the team’s first victory since Mexico 2024 - sparking jubilant celebrations in the garage and grandstands alike.

    Hamilton Milestone Highlights

Hamilton’s Barcelona victory added an extraordinary chapter to both his career and Formula 1 history:

  • He became Formula 1’s seventh oldest race winner, and the first aged over 40 to win a Grand Prix since Nigel Mansell in 1994.
  • He secured the first Ferrari win in Barcelona since Fernando Alonso in 2013, echoing Michael Schumacher’s first Ferrari victory at the same circuit in 1996 exactly thirty years prior.
  • He is now the most successful driver at the Spanish Grand Prix and at Barcelona-Catalunya after his seventh win at the circuit, moving clear of Michael Schumacher.
  • He marked Ferrari as the only team to have two seven-time World Champions win races for them.
  • He became the 16th driver to win with three different teams.
  • He headed the first all-British podium since the 1968 US Grand Prix alongside George Russell and Lando Norris, only the 32nd nation lockout in F1 history and the 12th for Great Britain.
  • He recorded the first win by a British driver for Ferrari in the 21st century, the first since Eddie Irvine in 1999.
  • He extended his existing record for the longest span between first and latest wins to 19 years and four days.
  • He increased his record of wins across different seasons to 17.
  • He claimed victory at his 32nd different Grand Prix event, further extending his all-time record.
  • He extend his 106th career total win record, at the same track that Ferrari won their 106th in 1996.
  • This was Ferrari’s 249th overall victory.
  • The Ferrari SF-26 is limited to just 99 pieces per driver at 1:8 scale.

    Perfect USB-C hub!
*If you are reading this and wondering if you should get it, or a competitor product that slightly lower in price... just get this one. You won't regret it.* I already wrote a review, but I forgot to add photos. 1) I couldn't find a hub that had more than 2 USB-C ports; 2) This thing is tiny, doesn't demand attention, and built with aluminum. Not plastic, and doesn't feel cheap; 3) a life saver. I took velcro and mounted the little sucker under my MacBook mount. Now I could plug in my external drives, SD reader, and use the ports on my computer for other peripherals. One thing I was worried about was transfer speeds. I don't expect the fastest speeds ever, but I don't want to regret my purchase if it was going to give me more of a headache than a solution. To my surprise, the transfer speeds are fast, and feel faster than when they were plugged directly into my computer. One hard drive in particular always gave me trouble mounting. it would take forever. Since I purchased this drive it mounts in seconds. I've used Satechi before, and their product have proven to me over and over to be reliable and of quality. *If you are reading this and wondering if you should get it, or a competitor product that slightly lower in price... just get this one. Works for me
This is plugged into a Macbook Air M2 and it supports a time machine drive, a 4TB solid state drive, a wired keyboard, and a free USB port for plugging various stuff into. In this use case, some other hubs don't work well with the Macbook; it keeps forgetting hub-linked drives are there, dropping them when asleep or not seeing them after a reboot. That has not been a problem with this hub. It's true I lose some of that Thunderbolt speed, but really, 5 GB/s is not that small a hole to put stuff through.

Leave the Laptop at Home - Content Backups
    Style: Data Transfer (10Gbps)
I purchased this hub so I could leave the laptop at home and do backups of my GoPro Cameras and Drone footage to an SSD drive. I used FilePro Explorer app on my iPhone to set up tasks to do backups of my content from the SD cards to SSD drive. The one hiccup I encountered is FilePro Explorer (or this hub, not sure which) wouldn't recognize my GoPro cameras as a data source, so I had to remove the SD card from my GoPro Cameras, insert the card into another USB hub that had an SD card adapter (like the one here https://amzn.to/4dlkhMt ) and plug that into the Satechi Hub as another drive source, which it then recognized my SD card from the GoPro camera. So basically two small USB hubs and an App on my iPhone replaced what I would normally do with my laptop. Big weight savings when you're on a bike or motorcycle traveling.

    Flaky and Fickle
    Style: Data Transfer (10Gbps)
Worked great for a month. Went to plug in a spare ssd to back up files from tablet and it never has worked since. No data or power through any ports. The light turns on and stays solid but is just dead. Waste of my money for now it is outside of return and I am having troubles getting in touch with Satechi.

I’m really impressed with my Satechi power passthrough 4 port USB C Hub. It’s really slick, streamlined, and really good looking too. It works well, doesn’t get hot or even warm to the touch.
