This Fuji Single Grain whiskey features the quintessential characteristics of each of the three types of grain whiskeys: delicately fruity, mellow and with a multi-layered profile.
Nose - Poached pear, rustic fruit tart, Cognac and marron glacé. Water brings out red berries.
Palate - Smooth mouthfeel with multi-layered flavors of poached pear, orange marmalade, raspberry jam, spiciness of rye, and bitter chocolate. Water brings out red berries and a delicate spiciness reminiscent of rye bread and cinnamon.
Finish - Mellow with gentle sweetness and pleasant spiciness, smooth and moderately long aftertaste with a hint of exotic incense.
