The TASCAM CC-222MKIII is a professional-format rackmount CD recorder and cassette deck combo designed for dual-media recording and dubbing applications. It combines CD-R/RW recording and cassette recording/playback in a single unit, with independent transport controls for both formats.

The unit includes dedicated RIAA phono input allowing direct connection of a turntable for recording vinyl to CD or cassette without requiring an external phono preamp. Additional analog and digital connectivity includes coaxial and optical S/PDIF I/O for integration into studio, broadcast, installation, and hi-fi environments.

The cassette section features Dolby B noise reduction, pitch control, and an auto-reverse transport, while the CD section supports MP3 playback, programmable playback modes, and CD-R/RW recording. The system also supports internal dubbing between cassette and CD.

• Physically this unit is overall in nice condition for its age. It shows some signs of use and age like general marks, nicks and scratches. There is nothing major, nor anything which detracts from the use or sound of the unit. Please see all photos.
  
  
• This unit has been serviced. It is fully functional and ready to use. The service included a full rebuild, clean and re-grease of the tape mechanism. It has had brand new belts installed.
  
  
• This unit has been converted to 240V with its internal multi-tap transformer. This means it is ready to plug and play within Australia and New Zealand.
  
  
• If you purchase from outside Australia you may need a step-up transformer to use this unit. Please contact us if you need any help sourcing the correct product.
  
  
• This unit uses a standard IEC cable to power on. This cable is not included in the sale.
