Silver Diamond Waveform™ HF Digital RCA

“Upon inserting the Silver Diamond RCA digital cable the answer became immediately obvious: a resounding yes. Just when I thought the limits were reached – the Silver Diamond went further! In particular the extension at the extremes was even better and the openness of the midrange spectrum helped to cast an even more believable sonic picture. The vocals were sensationally immediate and alive sounding; the human touch was highly authentic. The bass spectrum gained in punch and control and the instruments had even more body and thus seemed even more realistic. The uppermost octaves seemed even more open and limitless in their extension with the Silver Diamond and this in turn gave even more airy presentation of various recording venues.”

This sums up the Silver Diamond Waveform hf too.

Reviews and User Comments

Pursuit Perfect System

“The overall resolution and detail was mind blowing and most impressive is just how natural the vocals are as part of a wide open sound stage with depth and width to spare. See the two system demonstration videos below for examples of this.”

The Audiophile Man

“Firstly was the reduction in noise. That reduction removed the irritating, distortive effects that make the ear cringe and withdraw.

Next was the concurrent smoothness from the mids, especially the upper midrange.

Thirdly, was the bass. My goodness the lower frequencies added power to burn. Not so much in terms of punch just a hefty weight, a real force of nature.

The transient attack from the guitar plucks displayed an impressive focus and precision while the instrumental separation, enhanced by the low noise, allowed the ear to pick up secondary rhythms that occurred way off into the rear of the mix.”

The Audiophile Man

“SD is a generation ahead in terms of its capabilities, principally because of the vast amount of noise it removes from the soundstage and the clarity that it brings as a consequence.

The Tellurium Q Silver Diamond RCA is one of the all time great digital cables that, if you can afford, you really must own. Once you’ve heard this design provide its amazing sense of realism, then any other digital connection tends to pale into insignificance. Brilliantly transparent, the Silver Diamond is likely to dominate the digital cable hill for many years to come.

HiFI Plus

“Silver Diamond is extraordinarily transparent, satisfyingly open, full-bodied, with an awesome bass, and extremely sweet and smooth across the midrange.”

Performance Profile

Blue Family Warm and forgiving for systems with a slight edge or for those who like a more smooth laid back presentation. Blue and Ultra Blue are especially good for AV and home cinema

Black Family Smooth, fine detailed and great resolution while actually reducing apparent harshness. Music is presented as a coherent, organic whole, with a jaw-dropping sense of realism and naturalness.

Silver Family Totally uncoloured, acting as a wide open channel sounding unforced, vivid and dynamic with phenomenal resolution, transparency and natural tonal colours. All this while sounding extremely analog and coherent, from the exceptional top end extension to bottom with finely detailed, separated bass notes.

Great insight on what happened at Blizzard but...
Format: Kindle
My main issue with the book is the lack of non-american stories that explained the bigger picture. As a former Blizzard dev, there's much more than what happened in Irvine and Korea, with Europe's office mentioned almost as a footnote, and nothing else from the other regional stories. Shame but I guess the book would've been double the size.

Insightful inside scoop of Blizzard
Format: Audiobook
An intriguing, well-written exploration of Blizzard’s history and its staff, from inception to modern day, and their design decisions, successes and failures along the way. I loved the many quoted insights, and learning more than just the surface level story that might be found on typical gaming news outlets.

This book really helps organize a process that is inherently chaotic
Format: Kindle
I'm working on a series of novels about a world of talking animals that grows up after humans die out from complications of climate change. Every species has its own culture. I got through the first book and well into the second before I realized that I needed some way to codify all the cultural details. I had lots of ideas, but no way to organize them, and as I moved towards the third book of the series, which would require creating seven or eight whole cultures, I was feeling overwhelmed. Creating Life and the free templates the author provides as a download are proving to be very useful tool. I look forward to reading the other two books in this series, too.

An excellent book
Format: Kindle
I am a new fantasy fiction writer, and the detail of this book really helped me out very much. As I was searching Amazon for a book on this topic, this was one of the few that stood out. The author also offers continuous lessons on world building through his free newsletter, which I also find helpful. I highly recommend this book. Thank you Randy. L.M. Montes

Both books in this series are worthwhile reference sources
Format: Kindle
Great books--I got both this one and Creating Places. I simply stumbled upon both books online when looking for something about plotting, and I bought them both, and am glad I did. I'm a fairly experienced writer in literary genres, but fantasy/sci-fi are different. The first book I got, Creating Places, was immediately useful as I was creating a land ringed with tall mountains, and I wondered about rainfall--this book answered my question about how mountains effect rainfall! It's not like you couldn't look some of this stuff up in other ways, but having it all in one place was very useful to me. This one still had tips I was interested in, but I agree with the reviewer who noted it did feel like it was more about world building for world building's sake (at least in this book). Plenty of things didn't apply to what I'm writing, but if you use these as a handy reference--rather than a "how to" book, I still think there is a lot of use here. (Plus, when I bought it, the book was under $3, so I figured why not?)
