I think David Bowie put it best with his hit "Under Pressure".  Rad Roller's Rad Rod had pressure in mind when they devised this weapon of choice.  With a number of configurations and add-ons to up your recovery and mobility game it's truly a tool everyone should own in their quiver.

So what is the The Rad Rod and why do I need one?  Rad Roller says "The RAD Rod is fully loaded with a steel core and soft outer shell that stick it to tension like nobody’s business. The slender design minimizes surface area so you can fine-tune your pressure without pain—even on bony areas like the shins. That means tight muscles and built-up toxins better watch their backs because this rod rocks concentrated release and maximum relief the way only RAD can."

So when we first saw this...we knew we had to get our hands on one.  We have used it after countless "lactate crushing" workouts and have to say....we have "flushed" out the demons in our legs on a number of occasions.  It's such a killer tool that you are in complete control of pressure on.  So that's truly what makes this one of the more unique items on the market.  Here are some of the finer details that you should know should you want to take your recovery to the next level.

  • Dimensions: 21.25" x 0.75"
  • Materials: Steel, EVA foam and silicone
  • Color: Gray and blueComes with PDF guide of exercises

Want to spice up this roller?  Add a Centre Ball from Rad Roller or combine it with their Helix and you'll be in for a real massage treat!

HOW WE USE IT

After our workouts, we like to make time (yes...this means you need to make time!!) to stretch and roll out the legs and back.  We usually try and use this rod and roll out 3-4 times per week if your an athlete that runs tight.  Start in very small amounts of time and work into a routine.  Your body will thank you!

For serious coffee connoisseurs
I got this coffee canister because I know that my coffee connoisseur, son will be staying at our home for a few months this spring. He invests in very good quality coffee beans and grinds his portions as needed. I know that this glass vacuum type jar will do the trick in keeping the beans fresh so that the oils don't dry out. My husband and I use a flip top hinged canister for our more regular grind and the speed at which my husband drinks coffee means that it's usually quite fresh without the vacuum additional feature. I would caution that it took a hot minute to figure out how it work and wasn't easy to get open the first time outta the blocks. Read the instructions so you get familiar with home the air is extracted and how to release the pressure to open the canister.

Nice glass canister
Holds coffee airtight, keeping it fresher longer. It's see-through, so even guests know where to get the coffee. Good quality.

Not what I expected
For the price, I thought this was a real air release coffee jar. The kind you can use a vacuum sealer on that really gets out all of the air. This is one of the press pump types. For most, this would be efficient, but I make espresso and need the freshest beans. I roast myself and need them to maintain their freshness and this doesn’t quite do it for me.

Thin glass but good container
My biggest worry with this container is that it is such thin glass. I fear if I were to hit it the wrong way or it even fell a foot it would shatter. The seal is very good though and holds my coffee beans. It is easy to open and seal. I have no issues with it and it does what it is intended for other than it being a bit thin.

I needed a secure container for my flour and this works perfect
I have a unique problem I have dart frogs and because I have dart frogs I have to raise flies unfortunately, the fruit flies really love flower, and I’m having a hard time getting a container that seals and keeps everything out because normally a bay leaf is good enough to keep whatever out of your flower but not not this so I got this container and it’s amazing it seals so nice and tight. You can literally pressurize it to keep your flower completely safe from silly things like fruit flies I know this is unusual, but if you’re looking for a container that really seals this one’s fantastic. I love that it’s glass. I love that you can actually pump the top to pressurize it and then you hit the other button to release the pressure. I will say it is kind of hard to pull the lid off so definitely go slow.
