The Crassula Ovata ‘Sunset’ is a striking succulent with thick, glossy leaves edged in warm shades of yellow, orange, and red, especially when grown in bright light. It’s a tough, low-maintenance plant that adds colour and structure to any space while being incredibly easy to care for.
Light: Crassula Ovata ‘Sunset’ loves bright light and will reward you with its best colours when placed in a sunny spot. It can tolerate some direct sunlight, particularly morning or late-afternoon sun. In lower light, it will still grow but with greener leaves and less vibrant colouring.
Water: Like most succulents, this plant prefers to dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly, then allow the soil to dry all the way through before watering again. Overwatering is the biggest risk, so err on the side of too little rather than too much. In winter, watering may only be needed every few weeks.
