The peacock is a powerful totem. The plumes feel infinitely complex, almost surreal, yet somehow still organic and corporal. During monsoon season, in India, peacocks are regular visitors to the gardens outside my home. The plumes never cease to capture my eye, or my soul, feeling at once infinitely complex, yet perfectly natural.
