Flammable Freezers are designed to meet National Fire Protection Agency NFPA and OSHA guidelines for the frozen (-20°C) storage of flammable (volatile) material storage in general laboratory work areas.
Designed exclusively to control flammable material, The So-Low Flammable Material Storage Freezers and Refrigerators are ideal for storage of any flammable material products. There are no electrical components located in the interior of the unit and the compressor's electrical components have been sealed in a vapor-proof enclosure for additional safety. Units are supplied with a power cord to ease installation.
Temperature control and temperature recorder options allow for an individualized intensity of temperature control and monitoring. Adjustable legs and shelves add more availability and storage options to fit your laboratories needs.

Please note: So-Low flammable material storage refrigerators and freezers are manufactured at the time the order is placed and go through extensive testing before they are released. A 4-6 week lead time should be expected.

What kind of alarms do the So-Low Flammable Material Storage Freezers have?
They do not have any alarms, as So-Low's standard alarms do not meet the requirements for FMS storage. The DHH models (see manufacturer's specifications for model numbers) may come with optional digital controls and alarms at an extra charge.
ProTip
The So-Low Flammable Material Storage Freezers are identical to the ABS Standard Flammable Storage Freezers, which are less expensive. They are literally the same freezers, all built by American Biotech Supply, with the same warranty and certifications. Just get the cheaper ones.
