SpongeBob SquarePants is an animated comedy television series created by marine science educator and animator Stephen Hillenburg for Nickelodeon. It chronicles the adventures of the title character and his aquatic friends in the fictional underwater city of Bikini Bottom.

There's no telling where Mr. Krabs will zoom off to in his buildable pirate boat racer, but the money flag on the back will let everyone know that he's coming! The set is based on the episode "Frozen Face-Off." However, in the episode Mr. Krabs' racer was a sled pulled by worms, but in the set his racer is a pirate boat. Mr. Krabs' attire is based on the episode "Arrgh!"

The Mr. Krabs Race Builder is a SpongeBob SquarePants Mega Bloks set that was released in 2014, and includes a Mr. Krabs minifigure as well as a total of 83 pieces.

Mega Bloks SpongeBob SquarePants was a theme of Mega Bloks building sets. Mega Bloks announced at the 2014 New York Toy Fair that they had gained the rights to produce SpongeBob SquarePants sets after LEGO parted with Nickelodeon. The line had a variety of types of sets, including blind bags, construction sets, minifigure sets.
