Pro Tip
Start at the lowest speed setting when engraving on soft materials like plastic or wood. You can always increase the speed, but starting too high can cause the bit to "run" or burn the material. For polishing, use a low speed and let the polishing compound do the work—too much speed can generate heat and tarnish the finish.
