Paul Taylor shares the story behind the design:

“These optical frames were the first I ever designed. In the early 90s, a student requested a new take on the classic cat-eye. Although she never returned to collect the creation, they became an instant success as soon as they hit the shelves. Seeing the delight they brought to customers inspired me to continue designing. It has been a wonderful journey.”
