It is one of the few Brunello that never disappoint: even in the worst years, an excellent quality Brunello di Montalcino is always released, and this excellence is not just seen by us, but also - and most importantly - by the international press, which constantly rewards this wine with scores in excess of 90. The grapes on the Franceschi estate are always picked by hand. Fermentation in steel and ageing in large oak barrels for 36 months for this Brunello with its magnificent classic imprint. The 2010 vintage was epic in Montalcino and the whole of Tuscany, and Il Poggione presented all the majesty of its Brunello in this vintage: a masterpiece to enjoy with a delicious plate of wild boar “dolceforte". A price quality ratio which means you just have to fill your cellar.

No stiff neck-- just as promised!

Like most people I have tried all kinds of pillows to receive my stiff neck--to no avail. I decided to spend the extra money on this (since it was returnable) expecting it not to deliver, but in hopes that it would. I am happy to say the pillow provides great support, yet is fluffy and malleable. It looks a little flat out of the box, but give it an hour or so and it expands to full "fluff". The pillow is very comfortable, provides amazing support despite its soft, fluffy feel. Not being sculpted or rigid foam, it is easy to adjust and get the right support. Somehow it works! I have not had a stiff neck since I bought this. I did add about half the bag of extra material, but removed some because it was a little too much for me. The stuffing is clean, uniform and looks pristine. It comes with a beautiful pillow case that is thick and smooths out any "lumps" (which there aren't anyway because the filling is so soft and uniform.) I plan to order another one for our other home. Highly recommend.

You have to reposition to stay cool

It's okay...it isn't much better than other cooling pillows I have had. If I had known you can't wash this pillow, only the outside cover, I would not have paid so much. The cover is cool to touch but the heat from your head will penetrate the pillow and I am constantly having to turn it over. So it is ok but way overpriced.
