While its relatively common to replace the factory head bolts with a set of ARP Head Studs, its equally as important to replace teh factory main bolts with a set of main studs to create a bulletproof engine. These ARP main studs are made from 8740 chromemoly steel and have a 190,000 psi tensile-strength rating. Featuring a precision centerless-ground and thread-rolled to Mil-S-8879 specs topped off with a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance. This kit comes complete with hardened washers and high-strength hex nuts.
