MX12D2 is Phoenix Gold’s 12” dual voice coil 2 Ohm slimline subwoofer. Packing 300 watts RMS power, delivering tight, clean, articulate, goose bump inducing bass; jam packed with every musical detail.

Engineered to overcome the lack of space hurdle for BIG BASS in trucks and the compact vehicle market. The MX subwoofers are here to deliver outstanding performance to the most demanding listener and keep the music going. The MX “shallow mount” subwoofers heavy-duty construction starts with the Phoeniroll Surround that promotes an exact linear range of motion within the 22mm of peak-to-peak excursion. Followed by a light yet rigid glass fiber-reinforced cone, matched with an oversized sophisticated motor structure consisting of a high temperature Torriform voice coils made of pure OFC copper coupled with KlaraForm Vented Kapton former. Followed by a progressive rolled spider with rugged woven tinsel leads, resulting in a subwoofer that is optimized for maintaining precise control, and maximum reliability while being pushed to the limit!

My dogs have really enjoyed all the layers to this toy. It squeaks and has a noisy film on the inside of the cloth that they really like. The toy itself is very stiff and rigid but they like that. It’s been about 3 months and they recently broke through the pink layer so it lasts quite a while. It was a challenge for them to get the layer off once they had broken through the stitching so it would keep him occupied for a very long time.

My dog LOVES this, but...

My dog loved this right out of the box, she didn't learn to squeak it for a couple of hours, but she just stopped playing with her other toys, ragged as they may be... My dog is a Manchester/hound dog mix, of some sort, I'm only sure about the Manchester, she resembles them in look, size, weight, and all else. She weighs approximately 20-ish pounds, or so. With that said, like I said, she loves it, so much so that within 16 waking hours after its arrival she brought me the inner squeaker, the body was in the kitchen. :) She tore off the top part of the head and gained access to the squeaker, and EXACTLY as advertised and other reviews, it is a really good squeaky toy, she really doesn't seem to mind that the outer portion is gone, the (seemingly) durable squeaker might actually last. She can still play with the 'body', the toy is made that when (not if) they rip off an appendage, the nentire innards WILL NOT come out. It's a well designed toy in that respect. So, at times she will play with that too, she has brought me the BODY several times too, My dog is a really CRAZY chewer, she is somewhere under a year old and she will chew on anything that she is in front of her, including rocks, a blade of grass as she runs by, furniture legs, window sills, you name it, she has eaten it. She is a problem dog, but we picked her, and we'd do the same if it was our kid, we wouldn't throw them out. :) She has to be watched constantly, that is not the most fun, but, like they say, 'It is what it is'. I mention all of that to show that even though she is a crazy chewer, the rubber portion of the toy is still 'with us', for now, I will update this if anything else develops, and I am sure it will. Oh yeah, I really need to add, I don't think that the makers can make a chew toy 'outer' from anything that will last that long, not unless you go to a rope material, and I did not want that, it can be swallowed and cause more trouble. (Fabric can be swallowed too, but it's at least softer...) So, really, more than likely you can't get any better than this if your dog is a crazy chewer too.
