BEHIND THE SHOT
During their show, Karen came out wearing this 'Led Sister' T-shirt and did a drum solo with only a snare and a bass drum.. I know there was a lot of talk about some poll where Karen had been voted the 'best' drummer, beating out John Bonham of Lead Zeppelin. I guess this T-shirt may be because of that? She was absolutely incredible on the drums!!
Steve Martin opened for The Carpenters that night. Their show kind of came off like a TV variety show from that era.
Karen's voice was UNBELIEVABLE live!
