Dr. Stan Wood, Instructor

This class will explore God‘s mission for congregational leadership. Starting with the biblical record of God‘s mission in salvation history, we look at the rabbinic design Yeshua employed training the 12 for mission. Insights from Yeshua's leadership training will be applied to growing multi-generational communities of faith with robust faith sharing networks. The course will use case studies from missional church plants, mainstream, and Messianic Synagogues, and state of the art demographic analysis of congregational ministry contexts.

Dr. Stan Wood is an Adjunct Professor at Fuller, Columbia, Memphis, Denver and Pittsburgh and Andrews University Theological Seminaries. He specializes in new congregational development. Stan planted a new congregation in the Philadelphia suburbs and served as chaplain to the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles. He is married to the love of his life, Dar Sessions Wood, Ph.D. They have a 10-year-old daughter, Eleanor Grace. Stan is a skier, an occasional surfer, and he is learning to fly fish. Education: B.A. San Diego State University. M.Div. and Th.M. Princeton Theological Seminary. D.Min. Fuller Theological Seminary. Ph.D. Kings College, University of Aberdeen, Scotland.

I’m thrilled that Ray Peat’s books are finally accessible to a wider audience, but I was disappointed to receive my copy in such bent condition.
