This Yoshihiro AOGASUMI Kamagata Usuba is crafted from Yasuki Blue Steel #2 (Aogami #2), a high-performance Japanese carbon steel enhanced with chromium and tungsten for improved hardness, edge retention, and durability. It is known for its excellent sharpness combined with long-lasting cutting performance for professional use.

Blue Steel #2 offers superior edge retention and durability compared to White Steel, making it highly valued by chefs who require sustained sharpness during intensive vegetable preparation.

The Kamagata Usuba (Western-style Usuba) is a traditional Japanese single-bevel vegetable knife featuring a pointed tip design. Unlike the rectangular Edo-style Usuba, it is widely used in Western Japan and is especially suitable for detailed decorative cutting, garnishing, and fine vegetable work that requires precision at the tip.

It is a right-handed single-bevel knife designed for professional use. The handle is made from Magnolia wood with a Buffalo horn bolster, providing durability and a stable, traditional Japanese balance.

Excellent idea, could be better executed
I love the idea, but my problem with this product is that the bottom of the socks are made too short. The socks tend to slouch up when you wear them for awhile, so the entire ball of your foot will be exposed at some point. I would like to find a pair that cover the ball of the foot as well. But the socks are well made and attractive.

Perfect Solution for Moisturizing Heels Without Full Socks
Color: Black, Grey
Excellent quality and incredibly soft! These toeless socks are perfect if you like to moisturize your heels but don’t want to wear full socks. They stay in place and keep the lotion where it needs to be—highly recommend

These are quality materials!
The design and materials are above average. They fit great and are so comfortable. I have nerve damage and need open toes. These work perfectly. The colors are cute and did not fade upon washing. I will definitely order more, now that I’ve received my “trial” set. lol

Thick material
These are really nice. Will be great in cooler weather as they are heavier than a summer sock.

Weird Toe-Hole Not Pictured for Product
These socks arrived with a super weird toe-hole that is certainly not pictured on the product photo. If you're over 8, your big toe ain't fitting in that hole. Unless... it finds its way partially into the hole while sleeping and you awake in the middle of the night from startling big toe-pain. Alas, all is not lost! It is super easy to *carefully* cut the toe-hole seam. The result: The pair of toe free socks you thought you purchased in the first place.
