It macerated in steel, in contact with the skins for about 20 days. It sat for 18 months in small barrels and aged in the bottle for at least three months. It’s an excellent Chianti Classico, extraordinarily easy to drink and long on the finish.
It’s excellent with preparations based on red meats and game. Perfect with beef stew.
