Knits from the LYS: A Collection by Espace Tricot captures everything we love about our local yarn stores. Exciting patterns, yarns both familiar and new, and helpful tips on getting the best results. For over 10 years, Espace Tricot has been the LYS (local yarn store) at the heart of Monkland Village in Montreal, Canada. Serving such a creative, artistic and multicultural community directly inspired this collaborative collection.

Designers and shop owners Stephanie Earp and Naomi Endicott have assembled a range of patterns that offer something for every knitter. The 15 knits feature a variety of constructions, difficulty levels and techniques. Challenge yourself or stay in your comfort zone — it is up to you!

The book includes designs from the following designers: Stephanie Earp& Naomi Endicott (designs and creative direction), Carolyn Bloom, Olesia Lewyckyj Jarymowycz, Jocelyne Malric, Mona Schmidt, Andie Schmidtand Dianna Walla. A French edition is planned to be released in 2024.

Overall, I like this a lot. The only thing negative is that I can see that it will "pill" & fuzz up in places with more use. I do use this every night. One warning: As with any products like this that are suctioned close for packaging - be VERY careful. I always hold one corner of the plastic to open a little vent before I cut more to remove the pillow and let it "fluff". It would be easy to snip some of the fabric...

Great! I was a little concerned when it came so tightly shrink wrapped, but a day or two later and it’s in great shape. It’s actually pretty comfortable, good angle. It’s a good width and pretty long to accommodate all body types. I like it can be two heights. My adult kids said it felt like memory foam. I can add my own pillow too to further adjust to my liking. I occasionally get bad heartburn or sick where I need to sleep sitting up. This helps me do that in bed. I tried using it every night at first because I usually sleep with two large stacked pillows, but I’m a side sleeper and it eventually hurt my neck. So, not great if you sleep on your side. I also just lay a pillow case across it to keep clean. You can unzip and take off the cover for cleaning, but I almost never get stuff like that back on right. I got the dark gray cover and I like the soft feel. I’m glad I got it.
