What is ESD?
ESD stands for Electrostatic Discharge. It refers to the transfer of static electricity from one object to another when they come into contact, which can result in damage to sensitive electronic components. ESD-safe materials are designed to prevent such damage by dissipating the static charge safely, crucial for a wide range of electronic and manufacturing applications. This PETG ESD filament is ideal for uses such as housings, casings, jigs and fixtures where electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection is required. The higher the nozzle temperature, the better the ESD protection.
This filament also boasts superior toughness, heat resistance (with a heat deflection temperature of 76C and Vicat softening temperature of 86C), making it ideal for a wide range of practical applications.
