The late 2003-2007 Ford F-Series Superduty trucks with the 6.0L Powerstroke diesel are workhorses, but the charge air system has some well known weak spots. That’s where the HPS Hot & Cold Side Charge Pipe Kit comes in, built from 6061 aluminum to eliminate boost leaks, improve airflow, and add serious durability over the stock setup.
The factory hot side pipe is a common failure point, relying on rubber boots to hold it in place, which leads to stress, boost leaks, and power loss. This aluminum hot side pipe is nearly 50% lighter than stock and includes a custom mounting brace, keeping things locked down and reducing stress on the boots. On the cold side, Ford originally used steel pipes, but in 2005, they switched to weaker plastic charge pipes that are notorious for cracking and causing power loss. This mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum cold side pipe is the perfect fix, replacing brittle factory plastic and even offering an upgrade for early model steel pipes by improving airflow and reducing weight.
Stock intercooler boots on the 6.0L Powerstroke only have two layers of polyester reinforcement, making them vulnerable to high boost and oil vapors. The HPS 4-ply aramid-reinforced fluoro-lined silicone boots are built to handle it all, resisting oil breakdown and standing strong under 500°F temperatures and extreme boost pressure. Stainless steel spring-loaded T-bolt clamps keep everything secure, designed to maintain consistent tension even with fluctuating temperatures. Installation is straightforward with no modifications required, and a detailed instruction manual makes the process easy. Available in Polished, Black, or Red piping, with Black or Orange high-temp silicone hoses, this kit doesn’t just improve performance, it adds a clean, upgraded look under the hood.
Towing, racing, or just keeping things running smooth, the HPS Hot & Cold Side Charge Pipe Kit is built to handle whatever gets thrown at it.

Not great
Not pleased with these…at first very bright and seemed to hold charge well but as time has gone by they need to be charged ALOT! The glue doesn’t hold to the cabinet well. I wouldn’t buy them again based on them not holding charge long!
