The Long Becoming is a pair of handwoven fiber artworks that explore rhythm, growth, and transformation through layered textures and flowing movement. Each panel measures 30 inches wide by 6 feet tall, designed to hang side by side as a diptych or displayed individually for a sculptural statement.

Crafted from merino wool and hand-dyed fibers, the palette draws from earth and forest—warm browns, deep espresso, olive green, ochre, and soft ivory—woven into ridges, tufts, and cascading strands that echo the forms of roots, branches, and geological layers.

Together, the two panels create a dialogue between structure and movement, grounding and expansion. This textile work brings sculptural presence and organic warmth into modern interiors, offering both visual impact and tactile depth.

CARE 

Please handle with care.  Camille's weavings are designed to be a decorative wall hanging, not used as a rug. A gentle steaming is welcome to help straighten fringe after shipping. No routine maintenance is required other than an occasional dusting with a feather duster.

I absolutely love working on large scale commissions, so please get in touch if you're interested in something similar. I hand dye all of my own yarns, so matching a particular space or color palette is right up my alley!
