А проте ця людина зробила помітний внесок в українську культуру. Етнограф, фольклорист, публіцист, культурно-громадський діяч, педагог, Михайло Ломацький був закоханий у чарівну природу і народ Гуцульщини, збирав та записував легенди, притчі, повір’я; як активний член товариства 'Гуцульщина' чимало сил і часу віддав дослідженню та художньо-документальному відтворенню минувшини гуцульського краю, що і знайшло відображення в його творах. Alone or with another dog!
