Because the Vi Pec and Link ECUs do not provide power from the CAN output, AEM recommends using its CD Power Cable (PN 30 2218, included with every dash kit) to simplify power and ground connections. AEM’s Plug & Play CAN bus Communication Harness (PN 30-2215) eliminates the need to manually wire a CD-5 Carbon or CD-7 Digital Dash Display to a Vi-Pec i44 or i88 ECU, or 29 Link G4+ ECUs!Because the Vi-Pec and Link ECUs do not provide power from the CAN output, AEM recommends using its CD Power Cable (PN 30-2218, included with every dash kit) to simplify power and ground connections. The CD Power Cable connects to the AEMnet connector on the CD Dash wiring harness and includes a pigtail connection with power and ground leads that make it easy to wire the dash for power when used with non-AEMnet equipped devices.
This harness is fully terminated and connects the CAN2 input on the CD-5 Carbon or CD-7 main harness to the CAN output on the Vi-Pec and Link ECUs listed below.

I love them but pockets tear easily

I love them. They look nice and they are comfortable. I bought a total of three and they're all I wear in the summer.
Unfortunately the strap pockets wear out easily. On my left pocket I store a ridge wallet and my keys. For two of my most worn pair, the strap tore up to where it no longer holds the pocket closed properly. On one of those in the same pocket, a hole ended up torn in the corner. The third one I had to throw out after it shrunk after being washed improperly (can't wash them like I did my previous shorts which I washed the same way as the rest of my clothes).
I think I'll continue to wear them, maybe even buy one more, until I find something better.
