I can’t believe I did not make this cross sooner.  Both parents have outstanding flower quality and excellent breeders.  Golden Circle (Blc. Goldenzelle x Slc. Circle of Life) is one of my most reliable breeding plants.  I am asked what the meaning of ‘OPRL’ its  Orange Petals Red Lip is.  I use it to impart size, shape, and colour; it also flowers two or even three times a year. Virginia Dickey (Slc. Pink Doll x Sl. Pole-Star) has plants just 5” tall, they bloom 2 and sometimes 3 times a year, the upright stems hold 3-4  flowers of excellent shape above the foliage and it’s a great breeding parent.  What a great combination, first off flowers will have wide petals and fantastic overall shape, their colour will range from red to orange-red, and the lips will be full shaped and red. The plants will be 6” tall and the short but sturdy inflorescences will display 3 well-arranged flowers.
