The nickel fittings on this dagger are very good. The matte silver finish is in place and very nicely toned. The brown wooden handle is in very good condition also. German WWII NSKK Dagger by Waffenhammer-This is a good example of an NSKK dagger by a scarce maker. The nickel fittings on this dagger are very good. The matte silver finish is in place and very nicely toned. The brown wooden handle is in very good condition also. There are two small dents on the reverse of the handle, but these happened so long ago they’ve been worn smooth by use. The nickel grip eagle is tight to the handle, and has the same tone as the fittings, complementing them nicely. The SA runic button is in near excellent condition, showing only the slightest wear. The scabbard is a bad repaint! Three of fittings screws are missing on both the top and lower fittings. The lower fitting is slightly damaged from where the person who repainted the scabbard had removed this piece.  Please be sure to look closely at the photos. The blade is very good. The motto “Alles fur Deutschland” is nice and clear. The reverse of the blade shows the Waffenhammer logo under the crossguard. This is a nice NSKK blade, with a few liabilities to the scabbard.
