    This intake has been developed with legality in mind thanks to the enclosed filter design and OEM style fitment that utilises every factory mounting point.  

    Redesigned Air Inlet Duct
    We have optimised the design of the air inlet duct to maximise airflow into the air intake tract. This gets air in through the grille, increasing airflow whilst reducing resistance. In conjunction with the strategically placed rubber seal, the design mitigates the intake of air from the hotter under-bonnet area, thus ensuring optimal ram air effect.

    High-Flow 120mm/4.7-Inch Reverse-Mounted Cone Filter
    The system guides the air into a high-flow 120mm/4.7-inch reverse-mounted cone filter. Its unique inverted cone design allows for peak engine breathing and unparalleled performance.

    170mm/6.7-Inch Air Accumulator
    Further enhancing the AToM Race RS’s efficiency, the cone filter is housed within a 170mm/6.7-inch air accumulator. Doubling as a heat shield, it navigates and shapes the air as it exits through a 100mm/4-inch outlet.

    100mm/4-Inch Aluminium Intake Pipe
    We have replaced the smaller plastic intake pipe and inlet which completes the path of the intake to the turbocharger with a larger, 100mm/4-inch aluminum intake pipe and a high-boost rated silicone inlet pipe.

Incidentally, I was also involved in a heated discussion about data interpretation the same week I was reading this book, and was able to calmly defend and dominate the discussion until my opponent acquiesced. More important than dominating your opponent is the theme throughout this book that one’s argument must be genuine, and the logic tight. Additionally, as Prof. Trachtman reminds readers that these skills, like a weapon, should only be used for good. A great read!
