Description
Greatly improving upon one of Shimano's most successful line of saltwater rods, the Shimano Tallus PX Casting Rods make use of advanced blank technologies for unrivaled performance in their class. Specializing in versatility, the Tallus PX eliminates the heavy and bulky feel that often comes along with rods deemed as "multipurpose boat rods", which are generally uncomfortable to use. Built on blanks featuring Hi-Power X reinforcing technology, the Tallus PX increases overall strength and responsiveness while keeping the rod blank lightweight and comfortable to fish. The Hi-Power X blank is built with an outer layer of carbon tape that tightly winds the blank diagonally in opposite directions, resulting in enhanced torsional rigidity to reduce twist and ovalization. Hi-Power X technology enhances performance by transferring energy efficiently through the rod to increase casting distance and provide improved lifting power when fighting fish. When it comes to components, the Tallus PX is outfitted with SeaGuide Zirconia Guides, and features an EVA foregrip and diamond wrap shrink tube reargrip. Ready to put in some serious work on any vessel on any coast, the versatile Tallus PX is a great option for any saltwater angler who is live bait fishing, chunking, bottom fishing with heavy weights, or even trolling.

ASURION EXTENDED WARRANTIES
I was skeptical that my ASURION warranty would be honored since it was not an easy process to submit claim and required following up several times. Not as easy as buying it initially for a product on check out at amazon. Once the burdensome process was completed on my end, It was easy load the gift card issued for the warranty to my Amazon account. I would definitely look at warranty policies closer though before purchasing one. Good luck if you decide to purchase extended warranty.

Waste of Money and Time
It’s useless buying this protection plan. They will not help you with your issue. They will refer you back to the seller. What’s the point of buying a protection plan when they refuse to help? I DO NOT recommend purchasing this plan. Total waste of money and time.

Quick and easy to file a claim & get resolution!
I bought a blender from Amazon about 18 months ago and at the same time, purchased the Asurion policy to cover it. The glass pitcher cracked last week and I filed a claim with Asurion. Having never used Asurion before, I wasn't sure what to expect but I was blown away by the ease and speed with which my claim was resolved.
Immediately after submitting the claim, Asurion sent a pre-paid shipping label with clear instructions on what to do next. After packing up the blender, taping the label on the front of the box (I had kept the original box the blender came in), and dropping the box off at the UPS location near me (Asurion's instructions included addresses for 2 drop-off locations in my tiny town), I had a refund in my email within hours. I was able to add the refund to my Amazon account simply by clicking on a button in the email and there it was, a credit in my Amazon account!
As I said earlier, I'm blown away by how easy it was to file my claim and get a refund. Asurion made the entire process so effortless! Since the blender I had purchased is no longer available, I ordered a different one from Amazon (it arrives today - yay!) and I can guarantee you that I also purchased the Asurion policy to cover it. Thank you, Asurion, for making the process so easy and the resolution so fast.
