The all-black RM011 carbon Lotus F1 Team edition timepiece from Richard Mille is a painstaking piece of artwork that celebrates the hard work Romain Grosjean and the Lotus F1 team are committed to. The Romain Grosjean RM011 has a tonneau case that measures 50 mm x 44.5 mm and the bezel, baseband, and case back that is made of a light, ultra-strong NTPT carbon. The NTPT carbon is made of 600 layers of carbon that are glued together with resin, which gives the bezel a wood grain finish and makes the piece corrosion-proof, rigid and extremely resistant to impact. It has a sapphire crystal, a rose gold crown and ceramic push-pieces. The dial is finished in Lotus team colors and is skeletonized with three sub-dials, rose gold hands, a date window, with Arabic numeral hour markers. It is powered by the self-winding RMAC1 Calibre which has flyback chronograph functionality, a 60-minute countdown timer, 12-hour totalizer, date and month functionality with a 50-hour limit power reserve. It comes with a rubber bracelet that has a titanium double fold-over clasp. It has a water resistance of 50 meters (164 feet).
