Glutz MINT Single Five Point Multipoint Lock - Standard

A five point reversible (non-handed) multipoint lock with comfort latch bolt and five deadbolts controlled by a europrofile cylinder (not supplied) with a stainless steel 1788mm long x 20mm wide radiused forend, manufactured by Glutz from Switzerland.

Unlike other multipoint locks, the locking is solely controlled by the cylinder which therefore means that you do not have to use the lever handle to "lift up" to lock; the advantage being that you can use standard door lever handles or pull handles which gives you much greater choice for your entrance. The multipoint central lock has a backset (distance from edge of door to handle/cylinder) of 60mm with 25mm single throw deadbolt and is suitable for un-sprung lever handles and euro-profile cylinders; whilst the top and bottom locks have 20mm single throw deep bolts. 

The distance between the centre of the lever handle and cylinder is 78mm which aesthetically when viewed on a door is less cramped than conventional UK locks. This multipoint has been Third Party tested to European standard ENV1627-30 Grade 3 for resistance performance which exceeds that currently acceptable for PAS24 high security doors.

This multipoint lock is suitable for use on FD30/60 fire doors when used in conjunction with the optional intumescent kit.
