The easiest way to distinguish the hardtop from sedan is the thickness of the rod. The difference between the 1959 and 1960 rods is with the hook height (the end of the rod that has the loop). Also if you were to lay the rod flat so that the opposite end of the loop is facing up, the 1960 has a 90 degree bend where as the 1959
