Purple Grape Agate is a rare botryoidal chalcedony and not a true agate. It is found in only one locality in Indonesia. The colour of the botryoidal orbs ranges from mid to deep purple. Sometimes they can have a blue, grey or green tinge. The orbs of this obelisk are large scale, 20+mm.
