A&S Essential Oils: What makes them stand out?
A 100% natural essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of aromatic plants (or cold pressing for citrus zests). This ancient process, inherited from Grasse perfumers and medieval apothecaries, extracts the concentrated essence of the plant without chemical solvents or industrial transformation.
Each 10 ml A&S bottle represents an average of several kilograms of distilled plants, which explains the product's remarkable aromatic concentration: a few drops are enough to sustainably perfume an entire room. The amber glass protects the oil from ultraviolet radiation, preserving its olfactory qualities for 3 to 5 years depending on the species.
The A&S selection goes beyond the six "standard" oils by incorporating more precious or rarer plants (rose, sandalwood, ylang-ylang) which make up a complete olfactory palette, at the crossroads of classic perfumery and traditional aromatherapy.

Optimal storage of your A&S essential oils
Store the bottles away from direct light, at a stable room temperature (between 15 and 25°C), and in their original box in an upright position to preserve the integrity of the droppers. Always close the cap after use to prevent the evaporation of volatile components. Properly stored, essential oils retain their olfactory qualities for 3 to 5 years depending on the species: citrus oils (lemon, orange, bergamot, grapefruit, lemongrass) are the most volatile and lose intensity more quickly (around 2 to 3 years), while woody and resinous notes (sandalwood, frankincense) are the most stable and can last 5 to 7 years without significant alteration.
Important precautions for use: A&S essential oils are powerful plant concentrates that require careful use. Product intended exclusively for atmospheric diffusion: do not ingest, do not apply neat to the skin, do not allow contact with eyes or mucous membranes.
Not recommended without prior medical advice: pregnant and breastfeeding women, children under 6 years old, people with asthma, epilepsy, hypertension, or allergies to terpene compounds. Certain oils (rose, ylang-ylang, thyme, mint, sandalwood) have specific reinforced contraindications. Keep out of reach of children.
Pets: many essential oils (notably tea tree, eucalyptus, peppermint, lemongrass, ylang-ylang) can be toxic to cats, dogs, and birds. Ventilate the room and do not diffuse in the prolonged presence of animals. If in doubt, consult your veterinarian.
Diffusion: never diffuse for more than 30 consecutive minutes, ventilate the room regularly, and avoid diffusing in children's bedrooms during sleep. Citrus oils are photosensitizing: avoid sun exposure after intensive diffusion. This product is not a substitute for medical treatment.
