Improving on the Model 24 in almost every way, the Model 2400 from TASCAM is a 24-in / 22-out flagship recording and mixing console ideal for live and studio applications. Capable of 24-track internal recording via SDXC card and external 24x22 USB interface duties, the Model 2400 can fill many roles for the modern recordist.
The extensive I/O includes (but is not limited to) 12 TASCAM HDDA (High-Definition Discrete Architecture) XLR mic preamps and four standard mic preamps, five aux sends, four stereo subgroups, main L/R XLR outs, Control Room output, 12 inserts (plus a stereo master insert), a 1/4" click output with tap tempo, and MIDI I/O for controlling and syncing with external MIDI gear, from drum machines to FX processors. While the console can record on it's own, it is also ready for easy integration with computer-based DAWs with built-in DAW transport controls. You also get all the typical TASCAM mixer controls expected, including 3-band EQ with sweepable mids on channels 1 to 12, 1-knob compression, a 100 Hz low-cut filter, plus PFL/AFL functions, and a new assignable 60mm fader assigned to the 16 built-in TASCAM FX by default, which include reverb, delay, and chorus. The Model 2400 includes a power cord.
Streamline Your Mixing with Onboard Processing
The Model 2400's versatility doesn't compromise its mixing capabilities one bit. With per-channel compression, multiple sub groups, and master stereo bus processing, including compression and EQ, you'll have the pro-level mix control you need in any scenario. Taking your project from tracking to a final master on the Model 2400 couldn't be simpler.
With comprehensive 22-channel mixing capabilities, the Model 2400 is an ideal studio and live mixer for everything from larger combos and jazz ensembles to orchestra and choir ensembles. And when it comes to recording, no additional interface or computer are required.
Insert points on channels 1 to 12 allow you to easily integrate a studio rack full of processors and FX units. And, in addition to the onboard Master Bus processing, a send/return loop on the Main output allows you to connect external mastering gear such as compressors, EQs, stereo imagers, and sonic exciters.
With 5 aux sends and 4 stereo sub groups, Model 2400 handles advanced mixing duties with ease. Create more monitor mixes without sacrificing an aux for effects.

The Model 2400 streamlines your workflow even when you're using it in a typical studio environment with a computer-based DAW. The onboard 24 x 22 USB audio interface eliminates the need for external interfaces and converters. And thanks to dedicated transport buttons linked to your DAW, you can keep your hands on your console instead of a mouse.

TASCAM Ultra HDDA (High-Definition Discrete Architecture) mic preamps give Model 2400 the vibrant analog sound that makes harmonics come alive. With Ultra HDDA, any sound source will be represented with the utmost clarity and richness, and with an ultralow noise floor.
Monitor Your Signal Virtually
With the Meter Bridge app, users can take advantage of a digital meter bridge by connecting the Model 2400 via USB to a PC or Mac. Set peak hold times, monitor the input, MTR, or USB signal, all while being able to scale the GUI from a small window to full screen. Take it a step further by porting the app from your computer to a dedicated monitor of your choosing.
MIDI Interface
Model 2400's comprehensive MIDI functionality allows full integration with MIDI-based production setups. From controlling drum machines and synthesizers from your DAW software to synchronizing external effects processors to the tempo of your music and creating click tracks, Model 2400 offers the MIDI functionality you need to make it happen.
