This disc of Sonatas by D. Scarlatti is the accomplished and highly successful Finnish accordionist Janne Rattya's second solo Ondine release. Mr. Rattya performs throughout Europe, the U.S. and Asia. In 2002, Mr. Rattya debuted in the Chamber Hall of the Berlin Philharmonic, performing the first classical accordion recital ever presented there. He's currently professor for Classical Accordion Studies at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz, Austria.
