Telebossa's Nicholas Bussmann is, once again, after 2012's Like You (MINIMAL 013CD/LP), transforming into Nicholas Desamory to release You only need to know how it feels to believe - a house album of such warmth and rough elegance, it will leave the scene all excited. House has always been an open genre, sampling, adapting, and incorporating other styles. On You only need to know how it feels to believe, it's the reduced string and vocal arrangements that lead to this album's specific sound - the warmth - and evoke at the same time the great Norman Whitfield and the legendary Arthur Russell. This is how house music has to be in 2016! Nicholas Bussmann's career has brought manifold works into being, including collaborations with Chico Mello as Telebossa, an acclaimed mélange of Brazilian songwriting, precise electronics, and minimal music, and with Werner Dafeldecker as Rydberg (MONO 092CD, 2015). In addition, together with drummer Martin Brandlmayr (Radian) as Kapital Band 1, Nicholas Bussmann has released two complementary electro-acoustic albums: 2 CD (2003) and Playing by Numbers (2007). In 2010, he staged a concept for a modernized opera with Barnes Dance. Nicholas Bussmann is a conceptual musician and composer. Originally a cellist, he has since expanded his practice to a wide range of musical genres, from electronic to conceptual art. He sometimes works as a composer for film. As curator he has worked at Berlin Documentary Forum, MaerzMusik, the Shanghai Biennale, and the HKW Berlin. He is organizer of the annual Grand Prix d'Amour songwriting contest.

It’s worth it, surprisingly

Legitimately surprised at the size and quality. I got the full size 18” height and was worried it’d be wobbly and creaky, but it’s surprisingly stable. And for $100 in this economy? Worth. There’s no noise at all, and it’s solid. Took less than 2 minutes to assemble, truly a couple clicks and 2 hand screws. The full came in 2 pieces so the compact size together is about the size of a suitcase and very flat, we could almost take this camping it’s so handy. I don’t often write reviews but I was shocked. (This is a real human)

Highly recommend
Size: Queen, Style: 14 Inch ( Foldable)
This is a great bed frame. We have bought 3 now. It is super easy to set up. Unfold and screw two large bolts to connect the two sides. No tools needed. We first bought one for grown our son to go with the 10 inch foam mattress. We thought it would be easier to manage if he were to move. Then we bought one for our foam mattress when the box springs was wearing out. Amazing ! It fit perfectly in inside our queen size bed frame with a headboard and footboard. Love it. We also bought one as stand alone frame for the guestbed foam mattress. We're happy campers! These are strong, inexpensive and much easier to move than a platform bed or box springs.

Gorgeous bed 10/10
This bed is awesome. Sturdy, beautiful, and unique. The headboard and color and quality of wood is truly stunning, especially for the price. Super sturdy slats that screw into place and make the base very solid. I am using it with no box spring and it is working great. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Not long lasting
Size: Full, Size: Full
Very pretty bed and it seemed sturdy at first, but unfortunately it didn’t even last a month. I use the bed regularly with normal everyday use no heavy activity or excessive weight and the middle support beams still gave out completely. It might work well as a guest bed that isn’t used often, but I wouldn’t recommend it for daily use. The frame actually gave out while I was simply sitting on the corner of the bed. And before anyone assumes otherwise, I’m not a large person. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt I needed to warn others.
