Why This Kit?
The Magnum series runs hard through long planting and harvest seasons — a failed A/C system isn't just uncomfortable, it's a productivity problem. This kit replaces the original compressor and all wear-prone components in one shot, using a Sanden rotary compressor that offers:
- Less engine load — lighter weight means less parasitic drag vs. the original piston compressor
- Better cooling efficiency — consistent performance at varying RPMs during field work
- R134a compatibility — works with the modern, readily available refrigerant standard
- Widely serviceable — any shop with modern A/C equipment can service a Sanden system
Installation Notes
- Flush the system thoroughly before installing to remove residual mineral oil from the original compressor
- Use PAG oil specified for the Sanden compressor — do not mix with old mineral oil
- Replace all O-rings with HNBR (green) O-rings rated for R134a (included in kit)
- Have the system professionally evacuated and recharged with R134a refrigerant

Delivered as pictured and described. I was a bit concerned because of the super low price, thinking maybe it was a discontinued model due to problems but we've had good experiences with Belkin products so I went with this one...
When facing it plugged into the outlet, the cord does lean right as advertised. Length is also correct. True white, not an almond color, so it looks nice with white outlet and carpet where visible.
The switch is effectively placed on the end where the cord comes out so it's harder to accidentally switch off. Also it lights up on top to indicate green for protected or red for not grounded.
Also designed for a phone line on the opposite end but we haven't had use for that where we are using this surge protector. Will update this review should we utilize that feature or have any issues.

It's about 3D printer feel, so be sure to locate it where you won't bump it. It comes with everything you need to mount in a couple different configurations, which is a nice touch. The DAC fits perfectly and sets up nicely. Recommended for a polished look to keep your desk clear.

It works and the magnet is strong.

Strong magnet, looser fit than I like. Once I hang my headphones on the hanger it weighs it down enough to make the tab in the back not do it's job of keeping the base station from slipping out. I squeezed/pinched/bent the plastic together and it is working for now, but the plastic is flexible and I have a feeling I will be doing this again or needing to put some sort of support on the back. It came with a prybar, so I assumed it would be a tighter fit. Not so much.
