The Greenwood built L88 Corvette #49 set a LeMans Mulsanne straight speed record of 215 mph while driven by Greenwood, Dick Smothers, Bob Johnson, and Don Yenko in 1973. Since this car was sponsored by B. F Goodrich with the stipulation that it run on their new street radial tires, I wanted to park it beside an ad for that performance campaign. I named the tire dealership
