Essential for the vintage Japanese motorcycle restorer or enthusiast with an interest in these elegant Japanese copies of the BMW R50. The motorcycles were imported into the USA between 1964 and 1967 when the manufacturer, the Lilac Motorcycle Company, went out of business due to competition from Honda, Yamaha and others. Fewer than 1000 of these motorcycles were produced but a large percentage of them have survived and the Marusho/Lilac community is as active as ever.

Coil binding for lay-flat utility, US letter size, color covers with 196 pages of reference material. Check out the 2mb 14-page preview to see the list of manuals and documents included. Your book will be of somewhat higher quality than the preview.

Future plans include production of the BIG Lilac Motorcycle Manual, to cover the 50cc-350cc models.

Be careful of sharp edges

This is a decent organizer for the kitchen. Not too big and not too small for what I have. I like how it has two tiers so I can put soap bottles on top and sponges underneath. I also like that it just stands on the rounded edges instead of having legs. Those can start looking a little gross over time. I’m not sure if it’s just the one I bought, but you do want to be careful. Some of the welded parts had metal sticking up that I had to hammer down. The drain plate has some sharp edges. Not as sharp as a knife, but sharp enough you might cut yourself. I have another one from a different seller and just one tier, but it has a similar drain plate. That one has slightly rounded edges compared to this one. I would have like it more if the top basket was slightly taller. I get scared the glass soap dispensers I have might get knocked over easily. It would also be nice if the bottom could have a bit weight to it to avoid tipping. Overall, I would still recommend this over a single basket if you have more items you want to hold.
