The PMR Thumb Switch is designed so while sitting on the bike the switch is right where your thumb is, with our switch you do not need to take your thumb off of the grip. Some people like to use their horn button for activating accessories like nitrous. Yes this does work and we have used it too but when you are racing the last thing at high speeds you want to do is to have to take your thumb off from around the grip. So we designed this switch to be exactly where your thumb is. We offer it in two versions a single button and also a double button. Both buttons are military grade sealed buttons designed for over a million cycles. They are momentary buttons. We have seen these used for many applications, turbos, fuel injection maps, nitrous, air shifters, communication, air ride, and yes even garage door openers. They fit all bikes with 7/8 dia bars. They are thin and require only 5mm of space between the grip and your factory switch controls. This is easy to install just grab the end of the grip and slide it a couple of millimeters away from your factory switch housing. We designed our thumb switch to be easy to install, it is a split design so no need to remove grips or anything to put it on. These are designed to work on the clutch side.Shipping Notes

Comprehensive wilderness medicine reference
Format: Paperback
First off, this book should be supplement to actual in-person first aid training and course work. I only have my background in Boy Scouts and work required first aid/cpr/stop the bleed response to base this upon. But there is no substitute for competent in-person and hands on training, even if you have excellent books for reference.
That said, this book does have a very thorough guide on most issues that could be faced in wilderness and emergency situations. The cross over for urban use, would be situations like a natural disaster that renders hospitals and EMS unavailable or over capacity.
It's a very affordable book for all the information it contains, and is published by a reputable school. NOLS has been teaching outdoors skills since it was formed in the 1960s. If you can keep a level head and have decent reading comprehension, this book lays out diagnostic and treatment advice for many life threatening injuries and accidents. I'd recommend this book to anyone looking to expand and supplement their knowledge beyond basic first aid and CPR.

Had an older edition and bought the most current edition. Very well written.
Format: Paperback
Classic text. Written at the college level.
Text treats each topic initially from point of what are the causes of this injury, and how to prevent it. Then it goes into what will need to happen with an occurrence.
No pictures, but that's a good thing. There are many drawings which do a better job of highlighting what is important.
