It breaks away from hyper-extracted styles, leaning into an intellectual, wonderfully lifted Cabernet expression that honors classic Margaux perfume while boasting modern energy.

 It shows a dense, midnight ruby-ink hue with vibrant magenta reflections stretching to the rim. The nose unfurls a deep, aristocratic bouquet of ripe cassis, violet pastilles, and black cherries, seamlessly layered with notes of shaved graphite, cigar box cedar, and a gentle touch of dark cocoa. On the palate, the wine feels remarkably expansive yet poised, steering layers of fresh mountain blackberries and dark plums across a matrix of tightly knit, ultra-fine tannins.

The date and day of the week, however, seem to be stuck, and some of the days that I saw by manually reversing the hands were misspelled. If you’re not bothered by those things, this seems to be a good watch for the money. Just keep in mind it’s not perfect.
