This hot water bottle cover is knitted in two pieces which are then seamed together. It features a diamond design and a tie at the top so that the hot water bottle may be slipped in and out and the tie tightened around the neck.

The final cover is approximately 21cm by 35cm.

The yarn has been hand dyed with natural dyes. The colourway shown here is Saxon Blue but a number of colours are available.

100% Corriedale - Aran 100g Skeins Approx. 200m

Corriedale is a hard wearing yarn yet still has a softness to it. It has a long staple length and is also very supple.

It would make a great gift for the knitter in your life. The pattern and yarn are enclosed within an organza bag.

I have tried to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that monitors vary and colours can be perceived differently.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, the colours in each skein may be slightly different and no two skeins will be identical. As with any hand dyed wool, if using more than one skein then alternating skeins on every couple of rows will help to balance any slight differences.

I have rinsed the yarn until it runs clear. However, some dye may remain.
I recommend you soak your finished item in a gentle/pH neutral soap. Natural dyes can change or fade slightly as they age. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight and store in a dark place.
