木桶仕込み 国産有機醤油／足立醸造（兵庫県）
兵庫県産とても希少な国産有機丸大豆を使用。醤油に使う大豆の種類はいくつかありますが、脱脂加工大豆を使う醤油が82％と圧倒的に多く、丸大豆を使う醤油は18％。そのうち国産丸大豆が2.4％、さらに国産有機丸大豆は0.46％しかありません。その希少な国産有機丸大豆・有機小麦・赤穂の海水塩・北播磨の清流杉原川の伏流水を使用し、吉野杉の木桶でじっくり1年～1年半熟成。
しっかり深みがありながら、まろやかで香りも◎。しっかりとした味わいのなかにまろやかさも感じられ、香り高く「おいしい醤油の証」と言われている透き通った赤褐色をしています。かけて使うのはもちろん、料理で火を通すとより一層香りが良くなるので野菜・肉の煮物にもおすすめです。高さ4メートルの巨大な木桶を用いて全量を木桶仕込みにこだわっており、海外にも目を向けて果敢にチャレンジしています。
有機しょうゆ／ヤマヒサ（香川県）
有機JAS認定の醤油を世に先駆けて手掛けたヤマヒサ。大豆を蒸している工程を見学させてもらうと、石川県の金沢大地からとどいた大豆が蒸されていました。ヤマヒサの蔵に足を踏み入れると、樽と樽が密集して配置され、奥行きのある蔵の向こう側まで樽が整然と並んでいます。その数は150本。その様は圧巻です。
こちらも国産の有機栽培された大豆・小麦を使用。 塩についても同様で、使用しているのは天日製塩法による天日塩のみ。油分を含む丸大豆は醤油の色に赤みを強くもたらし、天日塩が微妙な甘さを出しヤマヒサの味をつくりだします。しっかりとした蔵の香りに豆感強めで、少し辛口の濃口醤油です。原料にこだわる方に。
にほんいち醤油 二段仕込／岡直三郎商店（群馬県）
北海道で有機栽培された大豆と小麦を原料に木桶で熟成させた岡直三郎商店の自信作。国産の有機丸大豆と小麦を原料に、発酵熟成させ出来上がった一番しぼり生揚げに、再度同じ原料の麹を加え、二年間発酵熟成させた有機再仕込醤油です。通常の倍の原料と歳月が育んだ贅沢なうま味と濃厚な味わいを楽しんでいただけるはず。
再仕込醤油の中でも特に濃厚なにほんいち醤油 二段仕込は肉との相性抜群です。牛丼、豚丼、鶏丼に。煮物の場合はいつもの醤油で作って、最後に少量加えるだけでもうま味がアップします。しっかり味をしみ込ませて、肉のうま味と醤油のうま味のハーモニーをぜひ味わってください。

Very nice, highly polished with the feel of quality for the price.
I'm very much an amateur barista. A trip to Italy inspired me to buy an espresso machine. I gained a whole new respect for coffee in Europe. The pitcher with my machine was too big to copy the Euro style cafe. Small quantities of milk were too shallow to froth properly even when tilting. The barista I watched in Italy was using a small pitcher so I decided to buy the 200ml version. It's a perfect size allowing a small amount of milk to be deep enough to froth. I brought back some roasted Italian coffee beans back to USA and wow! I'm very much a beginner but having fun.

Incredible quality, just buy the right size (I did not)

For anyone interested in this product, here’s a quick guide (from a coffee snob)
• 12oz (what I got, pictured) - fine for small drinks (standard mug) at home. one drink, and you never plan on using this for any larger drinks
• 20oz - the home kitchen sweet spot. if you’re filling a Stanley or Yeti traveler this is probably your size. One caveat, you’ll have no wiggle room and will be maxing your milk froth to the brim. if you like cappuccino’s get the 32oz.
• 32oz - this is what’s behind the counter at every coffee shop you’ve ever been to. if you’ve worked a bar shift at Starbucks you’ve held this pitcher a thousand times. If you like a lot of foam (cappuccinos) i would suggest anyone serious about at home use to get this one.
I’ve worked in coffee shops since I was like 16 and I still ordered the 12oz like a complete idiot. I posted comparison photos if you want a good laugh. The pitcher is smaller than a regular coffee mug. Not a travel mug, not a big mug, just a normal everyday mug. Bigger than the pitcher. I measured nothing and paid the price.
Returning it and ordering the 32oz of the same exact pitcher so that should tell you the quality is legit. Feels exactly like what we used behind the bar, well made, solid, nothing cheap about it. Just bought the wrong size.
For anyone also about to make my mistake: the 12oz works if you’re making one small drink at home and that’s it. The 20oz is probably the right call for most people, fills a Stanley or Yeti no problem. The 32oz is the coffee shop size, if you’ve ever worked a bar at Starbucks or anywhere else you’ve used that size a thousand times and it’ll feel right immediately.
Great pitcher. Wrong size. My fault entirely.

Over time I've accumulated several milk steaming pitchers, a few of which were 3 or 4x the price, and yet I keep coming back to this one. The build quality is surprisingly high, the volume markings are very clearly etched on the inside and easy to read, it has a nice no-drip spout for pouring, and it still looks as good as new after daily use; No sign of wear and tear or staining on the metal even with high heat milk steaming. This is one of those rare low price/high quality products I only rarely run across.
