Information about the artist: Simon was born in Lancashire, Northern England. He was raised in Royston a small mining village in  South Yorkshire. He studied Fine Art for many years specializing in Painting and Sculpture. He is an influential photographer producing advertising for a wide range of high level clients including :Chanel, Dior, Nike, Reebok, Speedo, Adidas, Nokia, Hastens, Marriott, Mont Blanc, Falke. Since his debut exhibition in Miami Basel in 2008 Simon has become one of the most collectable photographers of his generation. His artwork is held in prestigious collections and museums worldwide. In 2015 Simon founded  Orcadia Film, a cinema production company. Simon lives between Paris, New York and a farmhouse in northern France

Information about the artwork:  Astrid in 7 portraits made in 2012 marks the extension of a long collaboration between Simon, Karl Lagerfeld and Maison Chanel. Years devoted to the study of Classical Painting shine through in this Series. He captures, in the manner of the Dutch master Vermeer, the emerging star of the cinema Astrid Bergès Frisbey. Each of these portraits illustrates the celebrated Little Black Jacket Chanel, freely and brilliantly reinterpreted, until it becomes the astonishing and extravagant headdress of ""Astrid n ° 7"", emblematic of this series. At the same time avant-garde of Contemporary Fashion and yet infinitely Classic.

It's not misspelled words or formatting, but continuous run on sentences. Redundancies within the sentences. There were a couple of paragraphs that I had to go back and reread 3 or 4 times. Overall, I'd say it was worth the read.

I wish there was more of a time frame because I felt like something’s happened quickly but they were farther away than I thought so that was a little confusing to me. I really really wanted to enjoy this book and was looking forward to reading it. However there were just one too many convoluted plot points, sentences just did not flow nicely at times, and I was left with a lot of confusion on my end. I think it has the bones of being a great story but seems like it was rushed and I had to push myself to finish the last of the book and was left with an unsatisfying ending. It’s definitely different from other omegaverse novels I’ve read but not for good reasons. I really think it could be great but needs some serious tweaking and editing before I’d read it again.
