ATGBICS ZyXEL® Compatible SFP-BX1490-40 SFP 1000Base-BX form factor network transceiver supports a distance of up to 40km over single-mode fibre (SMF) using a wavelength of 1550/1310nm via an LC Simplex connector. This product operates within an industrial temperature range. Digital optical monitoring (DOM) support is also present enabling real-time monitoring of the parameters of the fibre optic transceiver.

Great for use atop the bedside table!
Very nice! I bought this for my father for his birthday, and he really liked the gift! It's a nice little place for him to keep all of his essentials together on the bedside table. No more losing his watch, keys, wallet, etc. or knocking them off the table!
