This is however when things start to take a turn and Mr & Mrs Blandings find all the fun and frolics of building a house! A perfect gift for someone going into a new house build or renovation! 

This particular edition was published in 1947 by Michael Joseph Ltd and is illustrated by William Steig. His illustrations are perfect examples of the style popular in the 1950’s and really help lend to the comedy of it all! 

It is a blue clothbound hardback book with silver detailing to the spine and illustrations to the spine and front cover. Overall the book is in good condition with all pages present and correct and no owners markings to the text, only to the interior front page as shown. The cover does show some discolouration due to sun damage but is secure and stable.
